Different Characters

Archer

The archer is an excellent marksman. They can read the wind which allows their arrows to fly true. They are very dangerous at long range. Elves are drawn to this profession and are excellent at creating wonderful bows and beautiful light armor for archers. Archers generally prefer to engage enemies at range, but are not unprepared for close range attacks preferring to wield light weight Elf made bladed weapons. Archers also have an understanding of the use of natural remedies for wounds and often carry such healing plants. The archer can also learn how to make and carry special arrows designed to destroy shields. Archers are quick and nimble and thus prefer light armor. Archers do not seek leadership, but do not hesitate to do their duty if called upon to lead.

Brute

The Brute is a ferocious warrior preferring particular heavy and deadly weapons. Brutes, generally poses great strength, and resilience to attacks. Dwarves are drawn to this profession because of their love of armor and heavy weapons such as axes. Brutes generally wear heavy armor to compensate for their generally slow two-handed weapons. They have adopted throwing axes for ranged warfare do to the recent advances in bows. Brutes are stubborn and often only will take orders from one specific person. A tougher warrior you will not find.

Master Brute—masters all the abilities

Foot Soldier

The foot soldier is the backbone of all the nations. They do what warriors do best, wage war. The foot soldier usually wears medium grade armor and carries a shield. This confines them to using single-handed weapons such as short swords and spears. They have perfected the use of a shield and a sword to easily dispatch someone with a ‘superior’ two handed weapon. They are particularly bothersome to archers and brutes because of their use of a shield. Foot soldiers have no magical or healing abilities. Foot soldiers are strategic minded and know how to work as one to accomplish a goal. Foot soldiers make excellent leaders and often become rulers when they work their way up the ranks. A purer warrior you will never find then the foot soldier.

Ranger

The ranger is a master of his surroundings. They respect nature and use it to their advantage. The ranger’s primary weapon is the long sword, but they are also efficient with a bow and have been known to use daggers. Silent and swift, the ranger makes an excellent scout. The ranger is no stranger to battle, but they have little use for armor. Armor only slows these warriors down and they prefer to use their reflexes to avoid attacks rather than relying on armor to stop a blow. Rangers have no magical or healing abilities. They are known to be decisive and trustworthy making them excellent advisors. Rangers have the skills and intelligence to make great leaders, but they rarely seek to be in positions of power. They prefer to be on the front line with the people they respect the most, the back bone of any nation, the foot soldier.

Warrior Monk

The Warrior Monk is a noble and selfless profession. The Warrior Monk is studied in the use of potions and physical care to heal and care for wounds. The Warrior Monk also delves in supernatural to actually raise people back from the clutches of death if they can make it to them in time. This is where their magical abilities stop. Warrior Monk's tend to mind their own business and generally have very little use for gaining power. They just want to help those that they protect. Warrior Monk's are not known for their combat abilities, but they are none the less skilled in combat. They tend to favor small weapons such as short swords and daggers, although a proper Warrior Monk would use a less deadly weapon such as a bow staff. Most other classes do not realize how important Warrior Monks are, but they are none the less thankful for their gift once they have been wounded in battle.

Master Warrior Monk—Becomes a master of all abilities

Wizard

Wizards are a select few of the most gifted people of Lincolnshire. The wizarding order is highly secretive and has a great tradition in the magical arts. The Wizards role in this world is one of support and advice. They do not however lack any skill with a blade and do know quite a bit of offense magic. They have spells that can repel attacks, spells to heal and strengthen, and spells to attack and do damage. There are three types of wizards. Wand using wizards use a wand to focus their power to use spells. A staff bearing uses a staff in the same manner as a wand for a wand using wizard. The hand magic wizard uses their own hands to channel their power. The wizards can lead if necessary, but prefer to be involved without making all the decisions. Wizards are not to be underestimated.

Professor—becomes proficient in all abilities.
